This tea combines all the deliciously strong and tantalizingly fragrant notes of classic Masala Chai with two critical twists - smoked cardamom and long pepper.
Smoked cardamom makes the THIRD type of cardamom in this blend, alongside green cardamom pods and decorticated cardamon seeds. In the scope of the entire blend, the smoky note is a mysterious and mercurial background hum to an incredibly cozy cuppa.
Long pepper takes the classic addition of peppercorns to a traditional chai blend and gives it a touch more heat, along with woodsy, mellow, and base flavors.
All packages are measured by dry weight. A 1 oz package will yield approximately 8-10 8 oz servings.
Steeping Instructions:
For a single serving, place 1 teaspoon to disposable teabag or tea steeper and place into 8 oz (standard mug) barely boiled water for 7 minutes (be careful not to over steep). Add your favorite sweetener to taste as desired.
